Monarch Architecture is pleased to co-sponsor the HOUSING HOP on Sunday, April 26th from 1pm – 5pm!
You can start the tour at one of three locations:
- 212 Hirth Ave – See 2 high-performance, straw-insulated structures designed by Monarch Architecture
- 102 E. Sexton Rd. – Visit a home renovated by Arise Dwellings
- 308 Oak St. – Walk through a prefabricated straw-insulated home by Building Integrity
Maps of all “hop stops” will be available at the starting locations. The tour will have around 10 stops featuring various examples of INNOVATIVE, INFILL, and AFFORDABLE housing in central Columbia, Missouri, including: a timber framed house, single-family attached structures, ADUs (accessory dwelling units), a church using their property for housing, a pocket neighborhood, new construction and renovations. The event is free and open to the public.
